SOUNDBITE (Italian) Antonio Conte, Italy coach:

"We have a lot of work to do, and a good outcome of our work will depend a lot on players like Gigi (Gianluigi Buffon), our captain, key elements like De Rossi, Chiellini, Barzagli, Pirlo. They have to give a lot to this team, in all sorts of ways, both football-wise and on a human level, and at times hold by the hand the younger players, who are really good, but still need to have some experience and learn the way to victory."

SOUNDBITE (Italian) Antonio Conte, Italy coach:

"If we want to be an important team again then we must be a team. A team with a capital T means a team with organisation, vision of play, we need to support talent with our organisation, and not the other way around, because right now we are struggling to find huge talents".

SOUNDBITE (Italian) Andrea Ranocchia, Italy defender:

"Today I'm here, but tomorrow who know, I have to earn that on the pitch, during games, during every single training, same as I have always done, both with the national team and with my club. I will put all my effort and try to earn this jersey in the future to try and become a key element of this team".
