  • Intro:

Swansea kept up its perfect start to the English Premier League season with a 3-0 victory against West Bromwich Albion on Saturday with Nathan Dyer scoring twice.

Dyer struck early for the hosts with a right-foot shot to the bottom left corner after being set up by Gylfi Sigurdsson in the second minute at the Liberty Stadium.

Wayne Routledge made it 2-0 in the 24th from outside the area and Dyer grabbed his second in the 71st following another pass from Sigurdsson.

The Welsh club now has three wins in three matches while winless West Brom has just two points.

SOUNDBITE Garry Monk, Swansea Manager (ENGLISH):

"Yeah no it's good to have that winning habit which is always good to have within your squad but I guess when you try to be a perfectionist you see probably the more things they do wrong than they probably do right but today we did many things right in many aspects we were very good and it was important that we started the game well which I thought we did and ultimately got the right result".

SOUNDBITE Garry Monk, Swansea Manager (ENGLISH):

"Obviously one of the most powerful clubs at the moment in the league and obviously with the team that they've got and the way that they've been playing recently obviously they are but we know what we are. We're not trying to be someone else and even though were we are in the league we understand that at this club and where we've come from and how we are that realistically trying to get to that 40 point barrier as quick as possible will always be our target as a club you know it's only our fourth year back in the Premiership and expectations come with winning games but I think realistically we have understand where we are and what we need to do and get there as soon as possible"
