SOUNDBITE: Sam Allardyce, West Ham Manager (English), (on signing of Alex Song on loan):

"Well I hope he can bring a bit of leadership as well as his quality play because certainly out on the pitch the lads are not opening their mouths enough. They all talk about what they should do before the game, they all talk in training, they all talk in the dressing room - but when they go out on the pitch, they stop talking to each other. It is clear that the communication is zero, verbally and I think somebody has got to get a grip and open their eyes and open their mouth."
