Martinez talks about "crazy" 6-3 match

  • Intro:

Chelsea demonstrated the full extent of their attacking power on Saturday with a thrilling 6-3 win over Everton at Goodison Park in the English Premier League.

The victory, in which Diego Costa opened and rounded off the scoring, made it three league wins out of three for the London side and was even sweeter given it came after Manchester City had suffered a shock 1-0 home defeat to Stoke earlier in the day.

    SOUNDBITE (English):

"Every time the ball was around our 18-yard box, we had a real sense of fear, of that ball ending up in the back of the net. And that is a disappointment. Not for today, that was the nature of the game. It had to be a crazy game to get back into the scoreline. It is just now you have got ten goals conceded in just three games. That is not like us at all. We have got a back five that we have not changed for the whole season. We kept 15 clean sheets last campaign. And at the moment, we have got a real feeling of conceding, every time we get the ball around our 18-yard box. And that clearly does not help if you want to get a good scoreline."

    SOUNDBITE (English):

"We always felt that we were very, very strong. And now we need to focus and get back to basics and make sure that as a team we can start building games with having a solid outlook about our performance. Something that unfortunately in the last three games has not been the case."
