    Script:

Five games into the Swiss season and Basel visited the foothills of the Alps when they travelled to Sion.

Basel came into this game following a 2-0 home defeat to St. Gallen. Yet the Champions were in control for much of the first half, breaking the deadlock on 19 minutes through Shkelzen Gashi, who tapped in following a comedy errors in the defence.

The away side came again and in the 30th minute Mohamed El Nenny almost doubled the lead in style.

Into the second half, following Streller's aid in the first goal he did it all himself for the second. And Basle looked out of site.

However Sion cameback. Exploiting some gapping holes in the defence, Nicolea Herea with the goal.

And Sion weren't done there. Gaetan Karlen was brought down for a penalty and Carlitos gave the home side an unlikely turnaround.

Yet with seven minutes remaining, the Champions had the last laugh.

Another error in the Sion defence saw the goalkeeper Vanins put through his own net.

Sion are now fifth in the Super League table on eight points while Basel extend their lead at top with a fifth win in six games.
