Dutch fans gathered in Salvador on Saturday ahead of their World Cup quarter final against Costa Rica.

Louis van Gaal's team reached the last eight of the tournament in dramatic fashion, relying on two late goals to beat Mexico 2-1.

Holland, who reached the final of the compeition four years ago, finished top of Group B, with wins over defending World Champions Spain, Chile and Australia.

And the fans present in a rather rainy Salvador were confident ahead of their quarter-final test -

SOUNDBITE (English) Peter Briants, Netherlands fan:

"We easily win, I think we will easily win because we are playing much better than Costa Rica."

SOUNDBITE (English) Hertz Tertremmeus, Netherlands fan:

"Today is a difficult match but I would say it will be 3-2 for Holland, and then we will go to the final and then we go to Rio."

The winner of the clash between Holland Costa Rica will take on Argentina or Belgium in Sao Paulo on Wednesday.
