"The fact that rumours back home, conversational dialogue has been taking place between the two clubs (FC Barcelona and Liverpool), that's not a good sign. That's clearly an indication that he's going to be leaving the Premier League which is a real big blow for us. But if he were to go on to Barcelona, what a fantastic player he will be and he's just a player that we will miss in the Premier League if he does leave."

"Yeah, listen, it's a very delicate situation there. We're talking about someone's livelihood here, he's obviously an exceptional player, we know what he brings to the team, what he's done on the football pitch - there's no question about that. But what he's condoned and his behaviour on the football pitch has come into question and it's very difficult to defend that. I'm sure if he were to leave Liverpool, it would be great (for them from a) business point of view - they would have a vast amount of money. You've seen them investing in people like Adam Lallana, and players like that, and the young German midfielder that they've just added to the squad (Emre Can). So they're doing business and bringing in players and all thanks to Luis Suarez in terms of his efforts so far. Yes, it'll be a massive blow that he -- if he were to leave Liverpool but clearly, from a business point of view it would be a great deal for Liverpool as well."
