    Belgium fans celebrated on Tuesday night (1 July) as their side beat USA to qualify for the World Cup quarter-finals.

    Script:

    Belgium fans celebrated their victory against the USA at a screening in Brussels on Tuesday night.

    The game had ended goalless after 90 minutes, but Kevin de Bruyne and Romelu Lukaku put Belgium 2-0 up in extra time.

    Julian Green became the youngest USA goalscorer at a World Cup to make the score 2-1 and make for a nervy finish for Belgiun. But the USA couldn't find an equaliser.

    Supporters sang and danced after the win that sent them into the quarter-finals of the World Cup.

    "Of course we are going to win the cup, what else? We are going to bring it home!"

    SOUNDBITE (French): Marco, Belgium fan:

    "It's awesome, there are no words for it. Look at the atmosphere. We are proud. We can make it against Argentina, we have confidence. We believe, come on Belgium, come on!"

    According to officials, around 10,000 people attended the public screening.

    Belgium will play their quarter-final match on Saturday against Argentina.
