Argentina fans filled the streets of Belo Horizonte on Saturday, ahead of their team's Group F match against Iran.

The Argentines enjoyed a win in their opening group game against Bosnia and Herzegovina and are considered as one of the favourites to lift the trophy.

With the likes of Messi and Aguero in their ranks, the side certainly has plenty of firepower up front, although questions have been raised about the team's defensive frailties.

Iran also boasted a contingent of supporters in Belo Horizonte, and one of the fanbase explained the motivation behind the decision to travel to Brazil -

    SOUNDBITE: (Persian) Mohsel, Iran fan:

"It took a 17-hour flight to arrive here, it is far away, but the love for our country and for football has made us come here to support our team."

Iran drew 0-0 against Nigeria in their first Group F match and to avoid defeat against Argentina would be a truly incredible World Cup upset.
