(On his wonder strike against the Netherlands)

"It most definitely is one of the greatest moments (in my career). Top two or top three. I feel it would have been capped even more with a draw or win, but I'm more proud of the boys. I'm more proud of the team and the boss purely because of the impact we've made on football (in Australia) and how we can grow and kids can be inspired in Australia."

SOUNDBITE (English) Tim Cahill, Australian striker:
(On if he'd trade his goal for Robin van Persie's stunning header against Spain)

"No chance, I've scored loads of headers like that in the past. That's mine and I'll never trade it for anything. This is what football is all about and I'm just fortunate enough that I've got to score my fifth goal in World Cups."

SOUNDBITE (English) Tim Cahill, Australian striker:
(On being suspended for the team's final game against Spain after a second yellow card)

"This is my last World Cup, it was an amazing way to go out. It's what I've always dreamed of and still I'll be playing every kick against Spain on the bench and willing the boys on. Trying to keep them mentally focused and physically prepared on the training ground in the second team purely because we came here to do something special and I want to see it through."
