Intro:
An event agency in Berlin, Germany, launched the World Cup Living Room at German second division side Union Berlin's Old Forestry stadium on Wednesday. 750 fans will be invited to bring their sofas to the ground and watch Die Nationalmannschaft vie for glory in Brazil. Joachim Löw's men start their campaign against Portugal on 16 June before playing Ghana and the USA.

Broadcasters have long proclaimed to be fans' home of sport but these Germany supporters have taken the message to heart.
With the World Cup kicking off in less than nine hours time, Chris Lopatta packed up his sofa and headed off to the World Cup Living Room.
The Old Forestry stadium -- the home of Lopatta's club Union Berlin, who play in the German second division -- has had a makeover, thanks to an event agency in the German capital. The east stand and parts of both end zones will be covered by a retro wallpaper. A large lamp is planned in the north-east corner, instead of using floodlights. Die Nationalmannschaft fans can watch the likes of Lukas Podolski and Thomas Müller on a 700-inch TV.
Admission is free and there's room for 750 couches, whilst up to 13,000 people can take their seats in the main stand.
The ground may look cosy but the pressure is on Joachim Löw's men to triumph in Brazil and avoid making these fans feel homesick.
