All eyes were on Cristiano Ronaldo as Portugal faced Republic of Ireland in their final World Cup warm up game in New Jersey, USA.
There had been doubts about the Real Madrid star's fitness after he missed Portugal's two other pre-Brazil friendlies, but Ronaldo looked in form as the Portuguese took Ireland apart.
The first goal arriving after only two minutes, with Hugo Almeida heading in Silvestre Varela's delightful cross.
It was 2-0 after 20 minutes - Ronaldo linking up superbly with his Real teamate Fabio Coentrao - whose cross was deflected in.
The Portuguese know they'll have to be in good form in Brazil if they're to get out of a tough looking Group G, which also features Germany, Ghana and USA.
And the signs were positive as Almeida notched his second after Ronaldo had seen his header parried.
Although Ireland pulled a goal back through James McClean and Ronaldo came off after the hour mark, the goals continued to flow for Portugal.
Vieirinha scoring this time, after the unfortunate David Forde had done well to keep out the midfielder's initial effort.
Coentrao then completed the rout with seven minutes remaining - the full-back taking advantage of a fine Nani through ball.
The 5-1 win will give Portugal plenty of confidence as they look to make their mark in Brazil.
