  • Intro:

The Costa Rica football national squad arrives at Sao Paulo International Airport on Monday (9th June) - the Costa Ricans are in Group D where they will face three former World Cup winners in Uruguay, Italy and England.

    Script:

SOUNDBITE (Spanish) Jorge Luis Pinto, Costa Rica coach:

"We have a shedule and we will train tomorrow as normal. We hope to arrive in Santos very soon. It was a long flight and we are tired after travelling and thinking about training tomorrow. It's a tough group, but we are going to play like it's any other group. For the other teams in Group D we are difficult opponents. We respect England, Italy and Uruguay a lot, but they should also know that we can play football as well."
