Quite possibly the World's most feared strike force has arrived in Brazil. The Argentina World Cup squad landed in Belo Horizonte on Monday led by the four time Ballon d'Or winner Lionel Messi.

Many see this as their best chance to win the tournament since Diego Maradona helped them lift the trophy in 1986.

All eyes are now on the player so often compared to Argentina's greatest, success here and Messi could perhaps claim that title as his own.

He'll be helped by Sergio Aguerro, Gonzalo Higuain and Angel de Maria.

That four helped fire Argentina through qualification with ease. They finished top of the South American group with 32 points from 16 games.

Alejandro Sabella's side arrive under some controversy though, FIFA are investigating after the players unveiled a banner before their warm-up match against Slovenia claiming the Falkland Islands belong to Argentina.

Their first match in Group F is against Bosnia and Herzegovina a week on Sunday, followed by games against Iran and Nigeria.
