Argentina bid adieu to fans on Monday (9 June) afternoon as they departed from their training ground of Ezeiza and began their journey to Brazil for the World Cup.
The Argentina Football Association invited fans to partake in the event and demonstrate their support.
With an offensive artillery of Sergio Aguero, Angel Di Maria, Gonzalo Higuian and of course, four-time World Player of the Year, Lionel Messi, many predict Argentina as the team to beat.
Yet, the country's last showing on the World Cup stage saw the side obliterated 4-0 by Germany in the quarter-finals.
Alejandro Sabella's side are set to touch down in their neighbouring country on Monday evening and will begin preparing for their opening game on Sunday 15 June against Bosnia-Herzegovina.
Following their clash with the Eastern European side they play Iran and Nigeria.
