The Socceroos took to the pool on Saturday afternoon.

Australia's 1-0 loss to Croatia and a 2am arrival back into the team's training base in Vitoria still fresh in the mind.

The match on Friday in Salvador served as the team's final World Cup warm-up and, while head coach Ange Postecoglou was pleased to come away injury free, the Australian tactician was frustrated by his team's inability to create in the final third.

Worryingly his men have now scored just once in their two official pre-tournament friendlies, including a 1-all draw with South Africa in Sydney last month.

Following a day of rest, the Australians will return to the training pitch on Sunday with an open session expected to be attended by 3,200 local school kids.
