    Fresh from a 6-1 demolition of Armenia in their final warm-up game, Germany departed Frankfurt airport for Brazil on Saturday.

    The German national team said 'Auf Wiedersehen' to home soil on Saturday - as the national team flew out from Frankfurt.

    Joachim Low's side leave on the back of 6-1 demolition of Armenia in their final warm-up game ahead of the 2014 FIFA World Cup.

    Victory was marred however by a serious ankle injury to Marco Reus, one of their key players.

    It's a setback for the three-time champions, who have to negotiate a difficult Group G once they arrive in Brazil.

    They start their campaign against Portugal in Salvador, ahead OFfurther tests against Ghana and the USA.
