With the World Cup just six days away the Spanish national team mingled with fans following a training session in Washington on Thursday evening.

Spain arrived in the USA on Monday afternoon and are preparing for their final friendly international against El Salvador on Saturday.

Head coach Vicente Del Bosque announce that Brazilian-born striker Diego Costa, who has been receiving treatment for a hamstring injury, will play some part in the game.

Costa's injury has been the source of much speculation, after he limped out of the Champions League final in May.

Del Bosque has also confirmed that 9 of hist starting 11 have already been decided for the team's World Cup opener on June 13th, against The Netherlands. The game is a repeat of the 2010 World Cup final in South Africa, in which a winning goal from Andres Iniesta saw the Spanish emerge victorious.

The reigning World Cup holders Spain have been drawn in a tough group which also includes potential dark horses, Chile.
