The Chilean World Cup squad have arrived in Brazil. In getting to Belo Horizonte they spent 3 hours and 45 minutes in the air, far less than most of their rivals at the tournament.

Expectations though are no less than most, the thousands of fans who saw them off in Santiago shows that...

    SOUNDITE (SPANISH) Claudio Bravo:

"The amount of people cheering was motivating in our way to the airport, the truth is that it fills you with energy, and as I said before, now we also arrived very tired because of the long day, and we want to arrive to the headquarters to rest."

SOUNDBITE (Spanish) Maurcio Pinilla, chilean striker:

"Yes, the truth is that it was motivating. It was so passionate, I have never experienced something like that. I´m happy, and thankful for the love that all the people showed to us in the way to the airport, and I promise them that we are not going to let them down."

Chile face Australia in their first match in Cuaiba next Friday. Things get harder after that as they are in group B with the Netherlands and world champions Spain.
