SOUNDBITE (English) Ryan Giggs, Manchester United manager:

"Just leaving out players was the reason I didn't sleep. It wasn't nice, they're team-mates of mine, I've never had top do it before and I'll continue not enjoying it as well so that has been the hardest part of this week."

SOUNDBITE (English) Ryan Giggs, Manchester United manager: (On his team selection and their performance)

"I picked a team I thought could win the game. The first half the tempo hasn't been as quick as I'd like it to be. Maybe that was down to it being a big week, an emotional week. The lads have trained hard, like I said yesterday and it just took a bit of time for us to get going. Of course the goal came at the perfect time and going in one-nil, I just said just quicken up the tempo and we'll be OK."
