Lokomotiv beat Krasnodar with late Samedov double

Sunday, April 27 2014 by SNTV
  • Intro:

Two goals in added time from Alexandr Samedov helped Lokomotiv Moscow win 3-1 at Krasnodar in the Russian Premier League.

    Script:

Lokomotiv Moscow travelled to Krasnodar hoping for a win that would take them to within a point of Russian Premier League
leaders Zenit St Petersburg. They got off to a good start when in the sixth minute Aleksey Miranchuk burst through to open the scoring.

But in the 45th minute the home side levelled through Joaozinho. It was a composed finish from the Brazilian for his seventh goal of the season.

That was not the end of the first half action though, watch closely here, as in the second minute of stoppage time the referee spotted a handball by Vitaly Kaleshin.

Alexandr Samedov though could not convert the penalty...

But my word did he make up it as with 91 minutes on the clock he did this...

And he wasn't done there, two minutes later Magomed Ozdoev broke through before finding Samedov who made it 3-1. That's now 11 league games without defeat for Lokomotiv.
