Manchester United interim manager Ryan Giggs began his first news conference as a manager by thanking previous boss David Moyes.

"I'd just like to go on record to thank David (Moyes) for giving me my first chance in coaching. It's something that I'll always remember when he rang me in the summer and asked me to come on board at Manchester United, obviously I was still playing but he gave me the opportunity for my first coaching role. Secondly, I would like to say how proud I am to be managing for the remaining four games the club that I've supported all my life and been associated with for 25, 26 years so it's a proud moment for me and one that I'll enjoy."
