It was fifth against third as Chornomorets hosted Dynamo Kiev in the Ukrainian Premier League on Thursday.

The hosts took the lead after 17 minutes as a long ball out of defence caused panic for Kiev.

There was still a lot of work for Aleksey Antonov to do but he cut inside beautifully before bending his strike round Dynamo goalkeeper Maksym Koval.

Chornomorets had their own goalkeeper, Dmytro Bezotosny, to thank eight minutes into the second half as he flicked the ball away from the head of the onrushing Dieumerci Mbokani after a cross from the left.

Eleven minutes later Domagoj Vida came close from a corner but couldn't keep his header underneath the crossbar.

And four minutes from time Andriy Yarmolenko was just off target with a shot from distance.

Just when it looked as if Chornomorets would hang on to claim all three points Kiev came up with the equaliser - Evgeny Makarenko netting with an unstoppable strike from just inside the area in the 89th minute.

It ended 1-1, leaving the teams as they were in the table - Kiev third, nine points behind leaders Shakhtar Donetsk, and Chornomorets seven points further back in fifth.
