  • Intro:

Arsenal manager Arsène Wenger said Premier League title-chasers Liverpool have had an easy ride with injuries and their fixture list. The Gunners had designs on lifting the trophy themselves earlier this season but their main aims now are securing Champions League football for next season and winning the FA Cup next month.

SOUNDBITE: (English) Arsène Wenger, manager of Arsenal:
"Look, the table is very close when you look at it... this championship has been played a little bit... Liverpool played very well in the second part of the season and you wouldn't like to take anything away from them but... they could focus only on the Premiership and if you look at the injuries (Arsenal's) plus the players we missed, of course, plus the schedule we had, of course it was much more heavier than Liverpool."
