With three wins in their opening three games Zulte-Waregem are the form side in the Pro League play-offs, a win at third place Anderlecht would put them top ahead of Standard Liege.

But in a game of few chances, neither side capitalized when an opportunity presented itself.

The hosts did little to trouble Zulte's Sammy Bossut in goal, but it took until past the hour mark for home stopper Silvio Proto to be called into action - Eden Hazard's younger brother Thorgen denied a set-piece goal.

Anderlecht's Massimo Bruno came close 16 minutes later but was thwarted by a flying Bossut.

The home side couldn't convert a late indirect free-kick and the match finished goalless. Zulte-Waregem a point off leaders Liege, Anderlecht one point further back in third.
