  • Intro:

Steve Bruce believes that victory over Swansea City this weekend will be enough to keep Hull City in the English Premier League for next season - Bruce also said that the club will 'vigorously defend' Yannick Sagbo following an FA charge of improper conduct, relating to Nicholas Anelka's controversial quenelle gesture, as he spoke on the eve of Saturday's EPL clash.

SOUNDBITE: (English) Steve Bruce, Hull City manager (on Yannick Sagbo's charge of improper conduct):

"Well, it's something that we've been made aware of for weeks so they haven't, they've took their time over it to be fair the FA to study it or whatever. We think it's, we're going to say this, we'll defend him vigorously because we don't think he's tried to offend anybody. I mean, you know, it's out there for everybody to see and as I say repeatedly, if it has offended people, then on behalf of the club then we will apologise. But we don't think Yannick has tried to do anything to try and offend anybody."
