Intro:
Boca Juniors beat Racing Club 2-1 to close to within four points of leaders Colon in the Argentine Torneo Final.
Script:
Two clubs with proud histories but modest records this season, Racing Club and Boca Juniors.
Racing came into the game with just one win from six and their leaky defence was exposed again in the 25th minute.
Emanuel Insua pulled the ball back and Juan Sanchez Mino lashed it home.
But Racing fought their way back and won a penalty in the second half when Daniel Diaz blatantly pulled back Esteban Saveljich.
A yellow card was shown and then Racing goalkeeper Sebastian Saja jogged the length of the pitch and put the spot kick in the back of the net - 1-1.
Boca were always threatening though and deservedly restored their lead with fourteen minutes left.
Mino broke through on goal, and his shot was saved by Saja but it fell straight to Cristian Erbes who scored to secure the points for the visitors.
2-1 it finished and Boca leap up from 14th to seventh as a result, Racing remain bottom of the league.
