Reaction from the managers after Wigan Athletic stunned Manchester City - again - to keep their FA Cup defence going with a 2-1 win in the quarter-finals at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday (9th March).

"I felt first half, we surprised.... we surprised Manchester City because a lot of teams show Manchester City, deservedly, a lot of respect. But I felt if we sat back and just tried to defend and hoping for the best, we would have no chance. Our only chance we had was to keep the ball, even in dangerous areas and tight areas. And I admire the bravery and composure my players had shown to get on the ball."

"This club has been very respectful to me. I think the reception I got was tremendous. I also felt I was very respectful in terms I didn't celebrate after the win, and shook hands and walked in. Everybody knows the bond and the ties I have to this club. That will never change."
