Eto'o's 'old man' celebration pleases Mourinho

  • Intro:

Chelsea manager José Mourinho said Samuel Eto'o's 'old-man' goal celebration was "good". The 32-year-old striker made light of Mourinho's recent disparaging comments about his age by celebrating in cheeky fashion after putting his side ahead in their 4-0 win over Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League on Saturday. The Cameroon international, who is 33 on Monday, sprinted to the corner flag and imitated an elderly man.

    Script:

SOUNDBITE (English) José Mourinho, Chelsea manager:

"I didn't suggest it but I knew it. And we thought [that it was] more than fine because [it was] the best way to... to diffuse the situation is to make fun of a funny situation. So, it was good. Some newspapers they did great with Photoshop [picture editing software]. Now they don't need to Photoshop they can just put the real pic'."
