Croatia were a distant second place behind Belgium in World Cup Qualifying Group A and had to come through the play-offs, beating Iceland over two legs. With a new manager, Niko Kovac, now in charge, their friendly against Switzerland will be hugely important for him as he attempts to find out his best 11 before naming his squad for Brazil.
