Manchester United coach David Moyes look ahead to United's Champions League last sixteen first leg showdown with Olympiacos in Greece on Monday

Manchester United enter the last 16 of this season's Champions League plagued by poor form in their domestic league.

United have history on their side going into Tuesday's opening leg.

They have won on the last four occasions they have met Olympiacos.

Moyes will be without defenders Phil Jones and Jonny Evans through injury, as well as winger Nani, but Rafael and striker Danny Welbeck are expected to be fit.

Club record signing Juan Mata is cup-tied, having turned out for fellow Premier League side Chelsea earlier in the competition.

SOUNDBITE (English) David Moyes, Manchester United coach

(on strikers Wayne Rooney and Robin van Persie)

"They are both vital to a lot of the things we do, they are both excellent players, you know, our record with them is far better than our record without them, thats for sure, and I think that both of them had an injury Robin is settling much longer than Wayne and think that both have gotten themselves into good really good shape. And they are both goal scorers, and scoring goals which is you know great for us, that's why they are top players, they score in the big games, and they make the big moments."
