Singapore coach Bernard Stange has said that he is hopeful of a good result against Jordan on Tuesday.

Although they are bottom of their AFC Cup qualification group, their spirits have been boosted by a 2-1 win over Syria.

SOUNDBITE (English) Bernard Stange, Singapore head coach (on his team's approach):

"I think we have a clear picture. Nobody can catch Oman and Jordan in this group, they are too strong, they are too good for all the other teams. And we are the underdogs. But it's nil-nil in this moment and we have our chance. As you saw against Syria, with great performance, great attitude, passion and commitment, I think we can deliver something. We lost the first game in Jordan 4-0. It was a big gap, a class difference and I hope we can do it better tomorrow."
