SOUNDBITE (English) Jose Mourinho, Chelsea manager:
(On why he signed Mohamed Salah whom Liverpool were interested in signing)
"First of all he doesn't score against Chelsea which is a good thing. Speaking seriously, we had to react to the (Juan) Mata situation which was (unexpected). We tried to go for a young player obviously, a left footed player obviously and for a fast one.Especially fast in space. Because most of my attacking players are fast, but fast with the ball and Salah is the kind of player how looks for space. Tries to get behind people so we think it was a good choice and a good option."

SOUNDBITE (English) Jose Mourinho, Chelsea manager:
(On selling Juan Mata to Manchester United)
"I feel sorry that I didn't make him happy, but football is football and I built a team around Oscar in that position. And on the sides the other people are doing very, very well. Juan is not comfortable on the sides. He tried very hard, and he did quite well in some matches, playing from the right side, but it is not his natural habitat. So when a club like Manchester United comes, and for sure they told him he's going to play in his favourite position, and he wants to go, he goes."
