  • Intro:

Coventry City manager Steven Pressley has said he was impressed by Arsenal but felt the 4-0 scoreline in the FA Cup was "a bit harsh" on his team.

    Script:

SOUNDBITE (English) Steven Pressley, Coventry City coach: (assessing his own team).

"Well, obviously in the first half we adopted a deeper press than we normally do, and at times if you don't get in contact with Arsenal they can be devastating, they really are. But, you know, I asked the players to be brave in possession and they truly were tonight. Some of our passing, some of our movement, some of our patterns of play were terrific tonight."

SOUNDBITE (English) Steven Pressley, Coventry City coach: (on Arsenal and the fairness of the result).

"You know, I thought at 2-0 we looked the more likely team to score. We had three or four big opportunities. But in the end, Arsenal's quality shone through in terms of the last ten minutes. They tire you out with their passing style. We worked really hard. The players didn't leave an ounce on that pitch and in the end, I think, 4-0 was a little bit harsh on us.
