    The visitors Wellington had the better of the early exchanges and took the lead in the 35th minute, as Stijn Huyesgems tapped in at the back post.

    Brisbane came close to the equaliser just before the interval, as first Henrique missed a glorious chance, and then Thomas Broich rattled the crossbar.

    But the hosts didn't have to wait long to level things up when Devante Clut produced a fine strike, making it 1-1.

    And a stunning long range effort from Luke Brattan gave Brisbane Roar all three points.

    Brisbane stay top of the A-League with 34 points from 16 games, while Wellington remain in ninth.
