A day after Jerome Valcke warned that Curitiba was not assured of being a host city at the 2014 World Cup because of stadium delays, the FIFA secretary general said the best option was still to get the outstanding work completed, at a press conference in Rio de Janeiro on Thursday (23rd January).

SOUNDBITE (English) Jerome Valcke, FIFA secretary general:
"It is a challenge, but it will also be a huge challenge for FIFA to remove and to change and to reallocate these four games, so there is no easy solution and the easiest and the best one for Brazil is to make sure that we can receive and we can work and we can organise these four games in Curitiba."

SOUNDBITE (English) Jerome Valcke, FIFA secretary general:
"So I would say that for the fans, they can still - I don't know how many tickets are still left, but they can still buy the tickets and more important book their flights top come to Curitiba."
