IOC president Thomas Bach got the chance to show of his football skills at the Maracana on Wednesday, as the Olympic officials continued their tour of Rio de Janeiro, site of the 2016 Games.
Bach experienced at first hand the playing surface at the Maracana Stadium - enjoying an impromptu kick about with other members of the Evaluation Commission.
The stadium will be the site of the opening ceremony for the 2016 Olympics and also host the football finals.
Before all that though there is the World Cup later this year, where again the Maracana will host the final on the 13th of July.
