Vissel Kobe came back from two goals down to claim 3-3 draw with Kawasaki Frontale in the Japanese J-League on Saturday.

    Script:

Two struggling J-League sides met on Saturday as Vissel Kobe hosted Kawasaki Frontale.

Three points would brighten Kawasaki's dimming hopes for a spot in the AFC Champions League next year and in the 39th minute Renato grabbed the opener for the visitors.

Eleven minutes after the restart, Vissel Kobe equalised when Ken Tokura took advantage of some poor defending.

The 26-year-old also scored the last time the clubs met in June.

Kobe were without a win in nine matches and it showed - Yu Kobayashi was left unmarked to put Kawasaki back in front in the 65th minute.

It was soon 3-1, only Kobayashi will know if he meant it or not.

Kobe pulled a goal back in the 76th minute through Yuzo Tashiro.

The home fans believed a comeback was possible and so did the players.

Tokura rose highest to level the scores with eight minutes remaining.

Kobe move away from the relegation zone while continue to lose ground in the race to qualify for the AFC Champions League.
