Queen of the South's clash with Dundee United abandoned at half-time

Queen of the South's Scottish Championship match against Dundee United was abandoned at half-time due to a frozen pitch.
The sides were deadlocked at the break despite the visitors piling on the pressure and having the majority of possession.
Scott Fraser set up Billy King only for him to shoot wide in the 20th minute before Queens had a huge let-off when Scott McDonald's low strike hit the side-netting.
However, the players did not return for the second half after officials became concerned with the playing surface and decided to abandon the match for safety reasons.
