Rohr urges Guardiola to play Iheanacho

Nigeria national team technical advisor Gernot Rohr admits he is worried about the current predicament of star forward Kelechi Iheanacho at Manchester City.
Earlier this week the German backed the young talent to break his way back into the Citizens first-team line-up due to his undeniable quality and finishing ability – but his stance has now slightly changed.
The 20-year-old is somewhat of a forgotten man after the blistering start of new signing Gabriel Jesus, who's even kept Sergio Aguero out the starting XI.
"I am sure Kelechi will come back to this team," he told Africanfootball. "He's a fighter, he has a good fighting spirit."
However, after his initial comments, he's now urged manager Pep Guardiola to either play the Nigeria international or allow him to leave the club in order to continue his rapid development.
"Kelechi has qualities and his manager is aware of that, but, sometimes, it depends on how the team plays. If he is not getting games at City, the logical thing to do will be to move elsewhere and play," he told Nigerian newspaper The Independent.
Iheanacho has scored four goals in seven senior appearances for the Super Eagles since making his debut in 2015.
