Millers man Lee Frecklington ruled out for a month

Rotherham have suffered a fresh injury blow ahead of the visit of Norwich with news that skipper Lee Frecklington will miss a month of action.

The midfielder injured his ankle ligaments in the defeat to Leeds earlier this month and scans have shown ligament damage which will keep him sidelined for three to four weeks.

Interim boss Paul Warne has no other fresh concerns as his side look to bounce back from a demoralising FA Cup defeat to Oxford last week.

Midfielder Richie Smallwood has been recalled from his loan spell at Scunthorpe and could start while Aimen Belaid is set for a recall in central defence. Lee Camp (knee) is out for the season.

Norwich midfielder Robbie Brady serves out the final match of his three-game suspension for a red card at Brentford on New Year's Eve.

Winger Matt Jarvis was on the bench for the first time this season following a knee injury for the FA Cup tie against Southampton, so could be involved again.

Midfielder Youssouf Mulumbu is away on international duty with DR Congo at the African Nations Cup.

Scotland international Graham Dorrans (knee) remains sidelined, while Louis Thompson continues to recover from an abdominal problem and full-back Harry Toffolo has rejoined Scunthorpe on loan for the rest of the season.
