Neymar plays in another charity match
Unlike in England, Brazilian football comes to a complete halt for the festive season.
Of Barcelona’s three superstar strikers, Neymar has been the most prominent during his winter break so far.
Neymar dressed up as Batman alongside girlfriend Bruna Marquezine, who was Catwoman, last week.
And, the Barcelona attacker was also involved in a very amusing moment during a charity match he arranged with another Santos legend, Robinho.
“Football Against Hunger”
On Monday, Neymar took part in a second charity match, titled “Football Against Hunger”.
This charity match was arranged by Alexandre and Fernando Pires and took place in Uberlandia.
Besides Neymar, current players such as Nene, Emerson Sheik and Michel Bastos took part. Whilst legendary left back Roberto Carlos also played.
Another Brazil legend in Zico turned up to the encounter, but did not take part in the game.
A Showboat goal
Following the match, which ended 14-13 (!), Neymar said: “Happy to have participated and I hope the whole crowd has enjoyed it.”
The final goal of the “Football Against Hunger” charity match was seriously impressive. And, of course, it involved Neymar.
