Christian Eriksen enjoyed some downtime with his girlfriend Sabrina in Amsterdam this week

Christian Eriksen jetted off to Amsterdam with his girlfriend Sabrina Kvist Jensen this week to enjoy some downtime away from football ahead of the hectic festive period in the Premier League.
It has been a gruelling start to the season for the Lilywhites and Eriksen has been a regular fixture in Mauricio Pochettino's side, starting 16 of Spurs' 17 games in the Premier League so far this season.
Pochettino opted to give his players some time off in the wake of their 2-1 win over Burnley in the Premier League last weekend.
And Eriksen used his free time to jet off to Amsterdam with his partner ahead of the hectic festive fixtures.
Eriksen posted the picture above on his personal Instagram account and wrote the caption: "Amsterdam ?????????? #shortbreak"
Tottenham Hotspur return to Premier League action on 28 December when they travel to Southampton.
