Huddersfield head coach David Wagner must decide whether to include new signing Tareiq Holmes-Dennis in his squad for the home game against Wolves.
Left-back Holmes-Dennis, 20, was signed from Charlton for an undisclosed fee this week but may have to wait for his first appearance.
Midfielder Jonathan Hogg is pushing for a recall to the starting line-up after stepping off the bench to score Town's last-minute winner against Yorkshire rivals Barnsley last week.
Joe Lolley is likely to miss out again due to a foot injury, but fellow forward Sean Scannell is expected to shake off a knock to the hip.
Wolves midfielder Lee Evans will be out for a few weeks with a knee injury and is not expected to return until after the international break.
Manchester United loanee Cameron Borthwick-Jackson is waiting to make his debut after being an unused substitute in Saturday's 3-1 win at Birmingham.
Nouha Dicko is closing in on a recovery from a year-long absence following a knee injury and could make the squad having played for the under-23s last week.
Mike Williamson (glute) and Michal Zyro and Jordan Graham (both knee) are out for boss Walter Zenga along with defender Silvio.
