Bury vs Sheffield United - Changes possible for Bury after hammering

Bury boss David Flitcroft could be tempted to make changes for the visit of Sheffield United.

Flitcroft and midfielder Tom Soares both apologised to Shakers fans for their side's performance in Saturday's 6-0 defeat to Coventry and will be expecting a reaction.

Midfielder Kelvin Etuhu is doubtful after being forced off just 22 minutes into his return from a hamstring injury so Jacob Mellis and Craig Jones could be in contention.

Defenders Peter Clarke and Danny Pugh were both half-time substitutes at the weekend and could return to the starting line-up as Bury chase their first league win in four matches.

Sheffield United boss Nigel Adkins must decide whether to recall striker Billy Sharp after resting him for the weekend derby win at Doncaster.

Sharp has been struggling with a hamstring strain in recent weeks and Adkins chose to leave him out on Saturday but the 14-goal forward has made further progress and is hoping to be back in the squad.

Versatile forward Dominic Calvert-Lewin is hoping to retain his place in the starting line-up after making his full debut for the club on Saturday.

Striker Che Adams scored the winner at Doncaster in his first start since early December and will also be hoping to stay in the side.
