Sheffield United trio Billy Sharp, Matt Done and Chris Basham are all hoping to shake off injury in time for the home game against Wigan.

Sharp was forced off during Tuesday's goalless draw at Blackpool due to a foot injury, while fellow striker Done (hamstring) and defender Basham (leg) sat it out.

Midfielders Martyn Woolford, Louis Reed and Ryan Flynn, plus forward Che Adams, are among those pushing for recalls to the starting line-up.

Boss Nigel Adkins has no new injury or suspension worries as his side bid to climb back in the play-off places.

Wigan's new signing Conor McAleny could make his debut after joining on loan from Everton on deadline day until the end of the season.

Midfielder Sam Morsy and winger Ryan Colclough are hoping to make their first starts after both stepped off the bench in last week's win against Port Vale.

Winger Michael Jacobs (calf) and midfielder Sanmi Odelusi (foot), plus defenders Kevin McNaughton (knee) and Andy Kellett are still out.

Forward Jordy Hiwula has been recalled from his loan spell by Huddersfield.
