Derby County vs Bristol City - Derby manager Paul Clement weighs up making changes

Derby head coach Paul Clement is weighing up whether or not to make changes against Bristol City.

Clement has no new problems after watching his team twice come back from a goal down to draw 2-2 with fellow promotion hopefuls Brighton on Saturday.

He said at his pre-match press conference on Monday afternoon: "I need to decide whether we stick with the same side tomorrow or freshen it up. I'll make the decision in the next 24 hours"

Scott Carson's back injury is likely to see him miss a third game but Clement has the likes of Jeff Hendrick, Chris Baird, Ryan Shotton, Johnny Russell and Darren Bent to call on should he opt to make changes.

Bristol City head to the iPro Stadium after posting a hard-earned 2-1 victory at Huddersfield on Saturday, with manager Steve Cotterill looking for his players to replicate that performance.

It was only City's second away win of the campaign, and those battling qualities will again need to be in evidence against a team tipped by many to secure automatic promotion this term.

City will have centre-back Nathan Baker available again after he completed a one-match suspension, but his fellow defender Derrick Williams is striving to shrug off an injury.

"We will rest and recuperate, and then try and put on a good show against Derby on Tuesday," Cotterill told www.bristolpost.co.uk.
