Portsmouth manager Paul Cook must juggle several injuries as his team prepare to host York in League Two.

Defender Jack Whatmough is close to a return, but Tuesday is expected to prove too soon given he is regaining fitness following a cruciate ligament injury.

Midfielder Gary Roberts and forward Jayden Stockley are still out with ankle injuries.

Goalkeepers Michael Poke (shoulder) and Paul Jones (knee) will also miss out.

York manager Jackie McNamara is set to make changes after his side slipped to their sixth consecutive defeat at Leyton Orient on Saturday.

Midfielder Michael Coulson is almost certainly out after limping off during the defeat at Brisbane Road with a hip injury.

Dave Winfield is set to be available again after missing out on Saturday as he recovered from a concussion, but Luke Summerfield is still out.

Options for McNamara include handing a starting place to striker Emile Sinclair, who impressed against Orient as a second-half substitute.
