Rochdale boss Keith Hill will check on forwards Calvin Andrew and Ian Henderson ahead of his side's Sky Bet League One derby against Oldham at Spotland.
Both players were substituted to avoid fatigue in the midweek draw with Coventry having been making their first starts since recovering from foot injuries.
Defender Joe Rafferty missed that game with a stomach strain and is also being assessed.
Midfielder Peter Vincenti (ankle) will hope to return but defender Rhys Bennett (hamstring) could still be missing.
Oldham defender Jonathan Burn returns from suspension for the short trip from Boundary Park.
The Middlesbrough loanee missed the midweek win at Swindon as he served a one-match ban for his sending off against Sheffield United.
Wilson's return increases competition for places at the back with Brian Wilson having impressed in his absence on Tuesday having been preferred to Timothee Dieng.
Manager David Dunn also has options up front with Michael Higdon, Dominic Poleon and Ricardo Fuller vying for one spot.
