Crystal Palace vs West Bromwich(WBA) - Crystal Palace keep faith with Dwight Gayle

Dwight Gayle is set to continue in the Crystal Palace attack for Saturday's lunchtime kick-off against West Brom at Selhurst Park.

Palace boss Alan Pardew reported no fresh injury problems following the win at Watford.

Striker Connor Wickham (rib), midfielder Mile Jedinak (hamstring) and defenders Damien Delaney (groin) and Joel Ward (knee) are all expected to be back after the international break.

Pardew admits Palace will have to box clever to secure a result against former Eagles boss Tony Pulis .

Pulis left the south London club on the eve of the 2014/2015 campaign having kept them in the top flight against the odds.

While both Palace and Pulis have since moved on in positive directions, Pardew is all too aware of just how useful a little bit of inside knowledge can be.

"It is a difficult test for us with Tony coming back here, he knows a good proportion of the squad and he knows me well, so he knows that I will try to attack him and he will have a game plan to stop us," said Pardew, who took charge at Selhurst Park in January 2015 after leaving Newcastle.

"When you look at his record, 14 clean sheets in 2015, he is pretty good at it. We have to find a way.

"Last season West Brom deservedly won here, their game plan was good, they stopped us and got two set-play goals.

"We need to have leaned from that, I hope we have and can get ourselves a victory for our fans."

Pardew expects the Baggies to respond following the disappointment of losing at home to Everton on Monday night in a match they had led 2-0.

"West Brom are well organised, well disciplined, all of the team have to defend, that is a requirement under Tony," he said.

"Therefore the distances between the units are not big and it is hard to get through, also they have good knowledge and experienced players with a good management team, so it will be tough."

Pulis is without defenders Jonas Olsson (groin) and Gareth McAuley (calf) while Salomon Rondon is also expected to miss out with a back injury he suffered in the 3-2 defeat to Everton on Monday.

The Baggies lost a 2-0 lead against the Toffees and Pulis knows their away form has been key with the side earning seven of their eight points this season on the road.

"Monday was a bad knock for us, we didn't deserve to lose the game," he said.

"The home games were always going to be tough. Everton have been a top eight team, Southampton have been exceptional and then we had Man City and Chelsea. What's been very good is the away form and that's subsidised the lack of points at home."
